The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining streets and right-of-way. This includes 104 miles of public streets and 35 miles of storm sewers. The Department is staffed by a Department Director, Administrative Assistant, Mechanic, Foreman, 4 full time laborers and two part time summer assistants.
The department operates out an office located at W6895 Parkview Drive, Greenville, WI 54942. The office is attached to a shop that is shared with the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. The grounds also have a storage shed with four overhead doors, the Brush Site Facility, Outagamie County Oil Drop Site and a large salt shed.
Equipment maintained and operated includes three dump trucks with snow plowing and salting attachments, two backhoes, a sewer cleaning vac-truck and various other vehicles and small equipment.
