Jennerjohn Park

Jennerjohn Park is a 25 acre park in the center of the developed part of the Town. Existing facilities include a pavilion with kitchen, restrooms, grills, picnic tables, casual play baseball field, tennis courts, sledding hill, ice skating rink, off street parking, playground, Heritage Fountain and recreational trail access.

Notes: This is a nearly fully developed community size park with mature trees and some open areas that allow for some added development possibilities in the future. Parking lots are located off Ricky Ln. and Meadowview Ln.

With a grant from the DNR, the Urban Forestry Board has planted 45 crabapple trees in Jennerjohn Park with the help of the boy scouts and their parents. These crabapple trees coordinate with more varieties of crabapple trees that were planted on September 18, 2004 at the Apple Tree Square on the south side of the Highway 15 tunnel.

For a teamwork project, volunteers from Kimberly Clark planted a line of trees and shrubs on the north side of Jennerjohn park.
