Snow Emergency

SPECIAL NOTICE: SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED

Per State Statute §66.325 and Town of Greenville municipal code §290-13, a SNOW EMERGENCY has been declared beginning on 12:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019. The snow emergency will remain in effect for over 36 hours and terminate on 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. The Town reserves the right to extend the snow emergency if conditions warrant.

During a snow emergency no person shall park, or suffer to be parked, any vehicle of any kind or description upon any street in the Town; provided, however, that, notwithstanding such emergency restrictions, vehicles may be parked for a period of time not longer than three minutes for actually loading or unloading of passengers or 30 minutes for actually loading or unloading of property, and provided further that no other regulation restricting parking as to place, time or manner is violated thereby. The Town is hereby authorized to cause the towing away of vehicles parked in violation of this section.
