Greenville Sanitary District #1 Sanitary Sewer Overflow Notice

A sanitary sewer leak has been identified in the Town of Greenville.  The leak was detected at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 and will be fully contained at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.  The leak occurred near lift station #1 at the corner of Municipal Drive (STH 76) and Everglade Road.

A limited amount of overflow was experienced due to a small break in a joint along the sanitary sewer force main.  The Town of Greenville Sanitary District #1 personnel have responded to the incident, and have contained the overflow to limit the harm to the public and environment.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has been notified.  Pursuant to the requirements of NR 210, this notice is being issued regarding this event.  The Town of Greenville Sanitary District #1 will continue to limit these events in the future through timely monitoring and repair of system mains and valves.
